Give It a Shot

So here I am, back to blogging after gazillion years of no updates here.

Alot of things has happened, am coming to a close of 6 months working in the ward. Hehe still doing good so far, just that I've noticed I have become more kecoh and noisy in the ward. Lol can't help it I guess. Anyway I'm gonna list some super random things that has happened. So here it goes...

- breaking fast with colleagues at seoul garden
- raya gathering at my place with non-muslim besties! (i miss u ppl loads!)
- JB trip with miaw and riodo $.$
- Riodo 21st birthday! (managed to catch up with sk and naq)
- makan session with besties (like almost once a wk! tmr's another session)
- Hahaha movie dates, prawning session and tonning with colleagues!

And back to work! Hahaha. Now im having my 2 off day and ubin trip with colleagues this wednesday, which was so random I tell you! But I loikeee. And and prolly karaoke session after pay day or nx month(: Glad to have happening colleagues, couldnt ask for more.

Haha don't know if its fate or based on luck, been working morning shift on every single monday for a month I think. Oh well, today it rained so heavily, I didnt bring my umbrella ella eh eh eh~

Anyways me and fana was busy digging for this flu jab form, then kecoh2 with kak liza for awhile before leaving the ward. Theeeen our roti la, pau nonsense crave started. Hehhh ape lagi, we went to cheers and buy nonsense things, munching and gossiping away, so unglam, I know! Then when we reach mrt, fana and her another idea... "Ehhh kat sini ade Mr. Bean kan??"

So we ended up buying food again and chilled for awhile at Mr. Bean, thank god there is table and chairs.

Stop, Drop & Roll

Work work and work. Lost track of my social life.

Last week or some time way back, went to JB with riodo, miaw and sonia for shopping session. Had soooo much fun splurging! And trying shoes everywhere. Lol! And I want another shopping session!!!

Anyway work has been okay, took a small toll of my health, developed a fever, running nose and cough last week and now resolving. Now I have to work for 6days before I get my off days...

On a brighter side, this coming week are all packed with activities like dinner with primary school mates, hehehehe lagi best is dinner with all my malay colleague and meeting up with khong and maybe nato too(:

I feel so exhausted... Rejuvenate me please...

We Met Up, AGAIN!

Got PH on monday, off day for riodo and free time for raji.

We met up at bugis, me and raji chilled at zen zen while waiting for riodo. Had a great chat and nonsense-ing around. Walked around bugis and raji had to leave early.

Soooo... Me and riodo decided to have "super" high tea, and spoiled ourself to the max. Ate at cheeky chocolate restaurant, indulging ourself with sinful chocolate food and ang moh tea!!

Finally We Met Up!!

Impromtu meet ups are always the best(:

Last thursday, coincidently me and riodo was not working, raji was free and qiu wasnt having any lessons, so we met up and had lunch at pasta mania. Didnt take any pictures while we are at pasta mania cos we were all too busy talking and crapping around. Gosh I miss the good old times back in poly...

Kaiqiu left after lunchy. So left raji, riodo and myself. Hahaha we all went shopping! And later on realised that we didnt went shopping before back in poly days, esp with that raji woman!

So later on, raji needed to make a move while me and riodo went around and bought fruits and baby clothes! And head to sonia's place to see her hamburger baby!!!

Picking It Up!

So let me continue on what happened after 27th July... Here it goes!

Haha got an off day on nurses' day, but went back to staff clinic to get my Hep B vaccination. Gosh IM injection really hurts~ Brought sissy along who cant stop oogling at guys and kept commenting on nurses uniform. LOL~!

Went to Lot 1 after that to buy a cake to celebrate mum's birthday, ordered KFC and happy feasting at home.

Back at work, got our nurses' day gift and a pretty pretty cupcakes from one of our patient's wife. I fell in love with the cupcakes, so preeeeetty! Haha but lazy to transfer the picture from my hp. Anyway work have been pretty much fine, still learning, still surviving(:

Anddddd fasting month is coming soon!

Tuesday was my off day, went out with bestie, ate at popeyes, walk around marina sq and chilled at mac eating sinful chocolate drink and darn good brownie! It's been looooong since I took my time to chew and swallow food properly, without thinking about anything!

Haha I'm having very weird off days this week! Off day, work for one day today and I'm off again. Well couldnt ask for anything better right? Hehehe I should be thankful(: Meeting up my poly peas tomorrow morning for brunch, cant wait!! Wait for my next update ok?

Changes!

Worked for 5days and finally got my double day off. And... Its going to end, back to work tomorrow my dear kasinah!

Lol! Weekends was awesome(:

Saturday, right after work, met up with sissy and went for a shopping session. Happy lah that gundu got her charles & keith bag! Hahaha thank god for the membership card though, hehehehe!

Sunday brought mummy, granny and sissy to lau pat sat and ate our hearts out! (I'm missing the prawns badly!) Hmm maybe next time I should explore ECP for the satay, as suggested by the taxi driver. Haha~

And today... Brought grandpa for his eye check up, and I was kinda pissed for being made to wait in the clinic for sooo long. And I think the doctor was scared of me. Hahaha so sorry, even my dora the explorer face is a case of gone case when I lose my patience.

Talking about face, I don't why there's this auntie in the clinic who keeps looking at me and when she's about to leave, she smiled at me and wave goodbye. Totally awkard I tell you! Her sons and daughter was like looking curiously at me, and my grandpa just laughed at me. Hahaha so I just smiled and wave back at her. Later on I think again, maybe I did nurse her back during my attachment in AH.

Or maybe strangers just like to smile at me?? Ohh okayy, totally weird~

Quick Update!

I don't know why but I've suddenly decided to update this loooong abandoned and untouched blog. Lol!

Nothing much happened to me, still in one piece, working day in and day out. And can't wait for payday! Followed by my double off day *grinz*

Work is fine, there were days that went smoothly and there were days that you-do-not-want-me-to-elaborate-on. Hahaha! Many things for me to learn and explore, loooong way to go.

Boo I'm missing alot of people right now, work has totally kept me busy): And wearing mask the whole day has ruined my skin!! Ahhhh~

Happy 1mth...

Recently I made a joke with my patient, asking her when was her CVC line inserted and that day happened to be a month after the insertion. And I blatantly said, "Oh happy 1 month, we should buy a cake and celebrate!". It didnt occured to me that it was very funny to her, but at least she was laughing away when I left the room.

I couldnt help it but to smile at myself for being utterly lame for saying that.

Later on I realised that very same day, it was exactly a month that I have been donning the uniform filled with responsiblilities. I know this journey isnt going to be one easy road... If I fall, I know I have to get back up by myself again no matter what. And quitting is not part of the option at all...

I guess its part and parcel of life, accepting facts and taking it all with an open mind. For now I can't wait for monday to come, even thought its training day at the very least I get to see my friends.

And my dear flu, please go away reaaaaal soon!

2nd Week Just Ended

Hola~ So glad that saturday finally came and now I can't wait for sunday to come but on the contrary I do not want monday to come... Contridicting, I know.

Well second week seems a little bit more interesting. Touched on topics whereby we get to miggle around the 130+ odd nurses and giggle around. And yup, many took the chance of pricking and did subcutaneous injection on themselves to know how exactly patients feel.

Couldn't believe that I actually took a small step out of my comfort zone. YAH! To actually volunteer myself forward to present a situation in front of so many people, with a microphone (so weird to hear my voice everywhere!). I could have just backed out and let another person present but I insist on taking up the challenge. And for that, I gave myself a pat on my back(: Oh yah not forgetting that I had the most supporting group ever, cheering and screaming before & after I present.

Oh well, better get my butt out of here and do some revision for the upcoming test. Wait for my next entry okay??

1st Week Ended

Helloooo world!

My first week of foundation programme in the hospital has just went by, and 2 weeks more to go before I enter my own war zone. Glad to have such programme to refresh my memory or else it will be doomsday if I went straight into work.

My butt is sooo going to crack sitting on the flat wooden bench of an old lecture theatre all the time. Worst still even my stomach can explode at anytime from excessive laughing. Thanks Aishah for your random acts of nonsense (ps: I can't put up any of her pictures here or else all of your stomach will burst into pieces too!). Lol!

Oh well I guess I better go and do my revision, another looooong week ahead. Take care people! And wish me luck! *winks*

Graduated!

I've officially graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, School of Health Sciences on the 11th May 2009. I couldn't believe that 3 years has passed by in a blink. Many may think that 3 years is not that long but for me these 3 years was indeed filled with challenges and wonderful friendships were gained too. From nonsensical school timetable since year 1, with extremely long hours of break in between and never ending project work week after week. And of cause not forgetting common tests and examinations.

Wouldn't have made this far and graduated without the existance of the lecturers and good friends. Hehehe and my hard work too. Lol! Sooooo I'm going to say my heartfelt thank yous to many many people here, before I step out of my comfort zone and enter the war zone of the working life.

Firstly to my poly peep peeps!

She's my secret honey and the best pressie she ever gave to me was a jumpy white cat called snowy! Hahaha let's get back to where I'm supposed to say...

Well honestly first time I saw her, she was exactly a mirror reflection of me. Too quiet! But guess what? We hit off with each other so well that we are no longer too quiet, maybe abit too noisy. Right?! And I really appreciate all your kind acts of going all the way to tutor me in modules that I was weak in. Not forgetting during the period that I got chicken pox, you bought me all my notes and you went through all the skills with me.

I totally won't forget the first time I met you. It was at one of the LT at convention centre, I was sitting by the staircase and you came over to me with a huge red plastic bag filled with lecture notes, asking me if this was the right LT for a particular lesson. Haha all I remember that the second week of school, I joined you and riodo in class P20 (so for the first week I was in the wrong class). Thanks sk for being my super duper loyal study partner for the past 3 years and also for explaining stuffs over and over again when I just don't get it. I think we can only stand each other nonsense during study sessions (you guys have no idea how many chicken wings needs to be slaughtered just for our study sessions) Lol!

Thanks Riodo & SK, you two are the most bestiest poly mates I ever met and am lucky to have you both as my friend. Love ya! And I'm missing all your nonsense already(: Meet up soon??

Raji
Raji my baby! Hanging out with you just makes me wanna dance around you. Hahaha kidding. She's the most sarcastic women with a pinch of powderful england, try having a debate with her & you'll taste her powderful language. Anyway thanks baby, for your encouragement when I crashed your class for practical lesson after I came back from my chicken pox holiday. Haha you could tell that I was at the verge of breaking down. Keep in touch baby! I hope we'll be meeting at SGH when Sonia is giving birth to her 1st child!

Sonia
She's my second mummy, who is always willing to listen to me and give words of encouragement. Hahaha I won't forget that I was crying over the phone like a silly girl to her because I was worried that I'm missing alot of lessons already. Thanks mummy for everything, you really make me a stronger person. And I can't wait to see your little girl in June!! Take good care of yourself!

Hehe she's my petite tai tai and was my classmate for straight 3 years! Really glad we had a heart to heart talk during our Vietnam trip, I won't forget the tears and hugs after we had that conversation, couldn't ask for more but to treasure our friendship(: Good luck girl working in TTSH!

Kaiqiu
Qiuy! She's my source and inspiration for lame jokes, and not forgetting one of the victims to all my jokes for the past 3 years. Anyway thank you so much for attending our graduation day that day(: We'll meet up soon okay? So much rubbish to tell you. Oh! Jiayou for your degree course, I know you can do it.

Next will be my AH attachment mates!

Namely people like Jac, Momo, Fizah, Nicole, Dotty, Kaini, Jialing, Sumathi, Naqiah, Ernie and many more (sorry if I didn't mention your names, these are the few names I can think of, but you know deep down I still remember you, you and you! ). You girls really made attachments more fun & exciting, no regrets knowing you all. So best of luck in your working career, and until we meet again(:

Now will be for my best two PRCP buddy, who have seen me cry (very horrible sight), hear me yakking all sorts of nonsense willingly, and lastly push me till the end for the final 3 months. Aishah and Faliqh, thanks for sharing all the weals and woes during that period. Haha calling each other almost everyday was such a norm for us during that 3 months. Not forgetting that you guys actually took the time out during these period too to celebrate my birthday.

Lastly, to my one and only bestie Siti! Haha thanks babe for sticking with me through the bad and good times for the past 9 years or so. Always loved your company and presence. Yours will definitely be next year, and I wouldn't want to miss it for anything, insyallah(: Hehehe remember our plans for next year ok?

Postponed?

Oh come one, postponed or plainly it was cancelled?!?!

I'm talking about my graduation ceremony, technically everyone was informed that ours was postponed till further notice. And take note, its only us, only health science nursing course is affected. *ROARS* Be afraid of nurses then. Lol that was random.

And whats up with "Oh those who have purchased or rent the graduation gown can go get their refunds back". RIGHT...

So much for looking forward to that day, totally devastated, too devastated to think about it. Anyway got to make a trip to the hospital with grandpa tomorrow for his pre check up before his operation (which i doubt my other aunts and uncles couldnt care less or much about it).

May 18th is reaching soon, and I guess my warmest welcome of the year has to come with this H1N1 thingy. Oh well keep all the gears up, and I believe everything will go well...

Back from...

Sorry for the looooong hiatus. Been sick, and am still sick. Feeling damn terrible. Couldnt get it better with the fantabulous weather *please add in sarcasm to that sentence*

What my blog has been missing about was...

- I officially start work on May 18th.
- Yay! Graduation ceremony on May 11th.
- Umm my cats are growing and... still growing?
- Made a trip to west coast park after gazillion years, way much better right now.
- Met up with many people, and I still need to meet up with others too.

Time's running up. Sheesh can't believe I'm kind of pissed off with the weather and I can't stop yakking about global warming.

Global warming isnt it? Hahaha what an issue. Will be back when I've got more interesting things to write, or people will start dying reading all my nonsense.

Oh one more thing, I've got a SPIDERMAN cat at home! Lol!

Haha I've just finished watching the show "Click". Guess its a coincidence that I'm kinda missing alot of stuff, way too many that I wish I could get back in life and organised it...

Alot of routine issue has been going on. Basically its just me and work. Been going to work with riodo almost everyday, celebrated sonia's birthday at hardrock cafe, invited raji over to our office, and recently me and riodo stayed overnight at the office. Hahaha you guys wouldnt want to know what happened in there, but of cos there's alot of work that needs to be done. I'm kinda getting tired, even my neck is still hurting.

Oh I went for my interview recently. Hahaha it was really a great experience, gave me a boost of confidence. Was kinda wondering how come the other people who went for the same job interview doesnt wear anything to a near decent or formal looking wear? Glad I was prepared for such interview back in school, although I did grumble and complained that the module was boring and yadaa yadaa... Yeap so I'm crossing my fingers. Hahaha oh come on I know I'll get the job! LOL okay too much confidence there!

Anyway brought grandpa for check up and the next thing I'm worry about is his operation (God, I hope they'll arranged for an earlier slot, though I know it isnt that serious, but things can be serious sooner or later). Haa am so gonna call up the clinic tomorrow. Oh well I hope grandpa will be blessed with good health and long life(:

I guess nobody actually cares about this issue, not even my uncles and aunts. So I'm supposed to be in charge of such responsibility now?? And how come it isnt all my uncle's responsibility anymore?? Is life meant to be that way? Got your own and new set of family and responsibilities, you discard the old ones?

Maybe life is sometimes about being selfish... Like I always tell mom, maybe they will only gather back if death in the family occurs.

I won't forget that moment I took the bus ride home with grandpa. He look so old, his smile so genuine and always walking behind me watching my back, like he used to when I was small running around the park...

Blessed!

Holaaa~

Just when I'm feeling crappy inside and dare not think of any hope, things actually gets better gradually (Honestly I was damn pessimistic, its all in my mind!).

Anyways...

Firstly, need to thank riodo the radio for the part time job she recommended to me. Heheh today was my second day, and work are already pilling up! Lol neh mind, we can always blast music in the office (when there is nobody), wheel around the office chair and monkey around. Hehh but work must still do la!

Oh yah! If you guys are wondering what job I'm actually doing, please ask me. Kidding~! Basically I handle alot with CDs and musics, of ALL kinds. Don't believe ask riodo, she handled some Malayalam songs. (Office joke!!)

So today rushed my fingers on the stack of latino pop songs, all need to be entered into the programme. My eyes always went crossed looking at the emac com, and butt hurts too.

HUHU! And then guess what happened next?? SGH called me up for interview. I was uber happy that after I hang up the phone I shouted to riodo, "RIODO! SGH just call me for interview leh!". So the next half an hour I was busy texting my friends and called up mum too. Interview will be on 18th of march. Hehehe wish me luck people!

I guess I better go, tomorrow going to chiong till night at work. HAHAHA cos its sunday, we have the whole office to ourself *smirks*. No more latino pop song for me, say hello to japanese and korean songs tomorrow.

Shopping with Bestie!

Would not trade for anything for the outing today(:

Met siti at around 12.45pm. Headed to bugis, bought earrings and she bought a pretty top. Hehhhh and I couldnt find any nice bag. Ransacked bugis's This Fashion too. Introduce siti to the most AWESOME wet popiah in Bugis, you should see the way she eats, filled with elegance *grinz*

Suddenly I thought of the big pretty bag (riodo, sk & qiu seen it before!) that I saw last week in jurong point. Soooooo i text monster qiu and enquire about the price, and drag siti to jurong point. Ahem somebody hasnt been to the new extended jurong point, so why not right? LOL!

Walking around, in and out, dragging each other here and there was totally a madness! Everywhere seems to be having sale, right babe? Wedges at $5, clothes at $10.95, bags at either $10 or $20 !!

Hahaha and at the end of our shopping mission at jurong point, I bought myself a pretty pretty bag and a awesome black top (CHEAP! $10.95 only!!). Head back to clementi and ate dinner at long john. How weird, I remember we always told each other how we wish there was a long john outlet in clementi...

I'm a happy girl now(: Thanks for the awesome day babe!

PS: Next mission is to get ourself a membership card from This Fashion and jogging session. LOL! Weird, I know! Hahahahaha!

Hortpark Trip!

Yesterday made a trip to hortpark with gbtg darlings.

Although it rained, and thank goodness it stop, I really had fun. Took tons of pictures of the greenery that they have down there, hehh but sadly I can't upload it to my lappy. (@#!*/# either its my phone or the lappy)

Ate sandwich and coooooling longan jelly like a tai-tai. LOL! We chilled at vivo's long john after that. Talk crap about secondary school life, and thinking about it... I just can't stop laughing!

Got my events all lined up, like finally I have something to look forward to.

Monday, which is today, ice cream date with bestie. Done-ded! And I bought a damn cheap shoe in clementi, $3.90. Take that! Had tons of laughter, laughing about the past... I always like to look back, talk about our cocky-ness and nonsense we did back in primary and secondary school. To think about it again, our friendship really came a long way. And I like to keep it that way(:

Marley & Me

Make it "Snowy & Me"... Lol!

Last minute movie session with riodo, sk and dianny. The movie was nice and touching. So touching that riodo doesnt have a tissue to wipe her tears and asked a piece of it from me. Okay laaaaa I cried too. You guys should watch it, especially for dog lovers.

I think my cat snowy will turn into Marley, or maybe she is like him already. Hahahaha!

Haaa guess what, I've just send my application form to NUH today. *cross my fingers* I hope I'll get a call from them soon. Mixture of excitement and nervousness, sounds like a wreak to me. Hehhh.

Next week schedule seems uncertained to me. Gaaaahhh~! Fact is, no money, no outing. Hahaha riodo wouldnt have any hesistation to agree with me on money issues. Right?

That is it!

Well 3 years was indeed fast, and 3 months was way faster than you have expected.

Let me recall my days during the 3 month PRCP period...

Obviously I was kind of frustrated as I did not get into the surgical side and was instead posted to a medical discipline,not forgetting together with 3 other strangers whom later on are those who actually were my pillars of strength to drive and supported me all the way..

And of cos not forgetting my other friends who are constantly by my side.

Haha PRCP wasn't as easy as many can ever imagine. Totally different from normal attachments; No more going on breaks on time (that was definitely one hundred percent true!) and of cos you have to do things independently. I was indeed fortunate, to have a very wonderful preceptor who is ever so willing to teach me anything and not forgetting her endless patience. Majority of the staff are a great team to work with, I won't forget all the good & bad times spent with them. Haha endless celebration of everyone's birthday to pizza party on valentine's day.

Suddenly I miss waking up, putting on that uniform and heading to the hospital, that was an everyday routine. And now I woke up with no routine at all and the uniform are still hanging up there. Tsk!!

Gee I still can't believe that my poly life has come to an end... And few months later will be my graduation ceremony.

Oh well I guess it's time I really step out of my comfort zone. So many fears and so many things to think about... Who doesn't right??? And yeaps, I'm going to apply for NUH, been thinking about it for quite awhile and time is really running fast.

Missing...

Gosh! 2 weeks of operating theatre and emergency department posting, respectively, ended just like that. Time really pass fast ey?

One thing I'm not going to deny is that I really miss our 11 bunch of crazy attachment mates. Hahaha especially when I saw fizah's comment on facebook and also nicole's blog (thanks ah chiobu calling me demure and crap! LOL!).

Hehhh suddenly feel soooo empty without all the laughters, chattings, sarcastic remarks, and of cos crazy & fun staffs in A & E.

Oh well I've got 4 more days at home to prepare, buck up, restore my energy & not forgetting loads of knowledge before I head back working in the ward for the final ONE MONTH! And I'm sure things are going to be different cos it'll only be me, faliqh and jimmy in the ward...

Ancient Updates!

Operating theatre attachment over! Tsk! So much for my consideration of being an OT nurse... Hehh let's forget about it and move on to Emergency Department posting.

AWESOME! Really love the place. Few days back I was inside the procedure room, preparing all the necessary equipment for doctors (hehh like mini operation) and doing dressing non-stop... Funny, the trend for that particular day was all industrial accident. Therefore you expect alot of foreign worker, worst still, the most interesting part is... Majority came in pointing middle finger to me.. *stunned* Middle finger got slammed by lorry door, machine roller ran over middle finger and etc. Not forgetting with all the drama-mama's of "many many pain sister" *rolls on floor laughing* Working with kak fazeeda in that procedure room was busy yet fun that I lost track of time.

Met up with crazy sha, wati and faliqh yesterday.Bus ride with four of us gave all the passengers an outburst of roars and laughter. Chilled at jurong point and was hunting for sha's make-up stuff, totally the kecoh. Laughing with them was really a great outlet to relieve stress, trust me. Heheh hope to have another meet up session with them again!

Today chilled with sha (again, like nobody else meh? lol!) at Lot 1. Accompanied her to body shop and ate tons of sushi! Hehe thanks babe for the half treat, love you many many! We talk alot about family, personal stuff, friends, our plans, ambition and laughed like nobody's business.

HUHU! Okay I guess I'll be heading to bed now, thank goodness I'm on afternoon shift tomorrow. Hmm wonder will there be any resuscitation case... We'll wait and see.. Wait a sec.. I think if that happens, I'll probably pee in my pants. Hahaha.

LOL Birthday Celebration!

Oh well I turned 19 last friday and so glad that I had an off day on that day.

Met up with nonsense qiu, riodo and sk at anchorpoint in the morning to have our early lunch at a kiddy place where everything (even the pizzas and chairs) comes in a mickey mouse shape. Hehh not forgetting with Alice in Wonderland showing on the screen, singing "An Unbirthday" song. LOL!

The chocolate milkshake is heaaaavenly! Haha we had lucky dip, and both me and qiu got an A4 folder, which we suspect everything in the rolled up paper has an "You've won an A4 folder" written in it.

Andddd my birthday gift from them is LOVED! Hahaha thanks girls, really really love that dress. After our early lunch, riodo had to go off and work... See nurses are so hard to meet up. Hahaha right qiu?After that we went our separate ways. I met up with bestie, siti, at queenstown mrt and headed to city hall to meet aishah, faliqh and henry.

Headed to marina square and settled at seoul garden. All of us very the "kecoh" (chaotic). Cook here and there, eat and makan, laugh but never choked! Hahaha I think everyone laughed till their jaw hurts. Took loads of picture too. Anyway it was dessert time and I got tricked...

AND THERE! I got smacked with ice cream. Hahahaha thanks ah! So embarassing and was super shocked. Here's the candid shot... Quit laughing or you'll get jaw lock! Hahahaha.

Later on we walked around marina, joking and monkey-ing around after we bought our Twilight movie tickets. Wati joined us for the movie. Twilight is awesooooome! Or maybe it was because of Edward *melts* Hahaha!

I really had a great day with them, but sad cos aishah's gonna finish up her PRCP first while me and faliqh are already heading to Operating Theatre and A&E respectively. Gosh I guess when we come back to the ward, expectations are so going to be high. Heheh I know I can do it!

Monday was my first day in OT and I got to see surgeons removing a lump out of a patient's breast. We practice scrubbing, gowning and got to touch all the instruments (heheh due to one operation cancelled, but kind of wasted or else we could have seen leg amputation!!) And today I got to see FRESH HUMAN BRAIN! Amazed by the tofu look alike brain, with blood oozing everywhere. Anybody loves tofu?? Hahahahaha!

First of all, Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas to all.

Was rotting and planning to study today, when sticky qiu called me and asked me out. She's not a good friend you see, people want to study but she'll drag you out for shopping. LOL!

But was really glad she called me out. Someone really shops alot. LOL! We went to marina square and city hall. Aaanddd I want That! dress ): Mehhh~!

Anyway both of us had sooo much to talk that I think today was not that enough either. Right qiu? Hahahaha meeting up with qiu AGAIN, with riodo and sk tomorrow at anchorpoint, and gonna rush to city hall after that *grins!*

And thanks for the cheesecake qiu! Teach me how to bake it and i'll consider lending you the "27 Dresses" movie. HAHAHA! Kidding...

Happy-Happy!

Met up with dearest babe, Suhaila yesterday. As usual our hunting ground will be HER territorial place, which is Jurong Point. I must say I look like one idiot, uber amazed with the new and HUGE J.P.

Hehe got an early birthday treat from babe at fig and olive. THANKS BABE! We keep yakking and yakking non-stop. SEEEEE! We got so much to talk about, especially talking about the past... Gosh those stupid memories back in secondary school, it seems like it happened yesterday. I laughed till my jaw got kind of sore.

Shopped around and we had a fair share of camwhoring too. Hahaha! Will edit the pictures soon after I figured out what happened to my photoscape program. TSK!

Well for today, work in the ward was pretty okay I guess. Hehh I had to overcome my own fears of entering this TB/Isolation room. I don't know why I feel so scared, maybe because the thought of wearing the super tight N95 mask and depriving my system of oxygen... Okay that's bullshit kasinah! Hahaha. Oh well the room is pretty huge, with phone, tv and not forgetting your personal toilet.

Ate my lunch super late, like almost 2pm. After passing report, rotted inside the staff room with AN Jhoan making ice bags for tomorrow's party (uber excited! i think ward 4 xmas party will be the best yo! lol!). I was in team 1, got bored halfway so i walked to the back to team 2 and said "HI!" to Aishah, Faliqh and Vivian. I was soooooo dumb can?? I didn't notice that both Sha and Faliqh was PURPOSELY ignoring my presence and continued talking among themselves until Sha look at me and started laughing. Hahahaha and I went around complaining to everyone about them.

Was waiting for the time to hit 3pm, so me, Aishah, Zhao Lin, Shen Ping and AN Jhoan rot inside the staff room with a mini pharmacology test done by Jhoan. Damn nonsense I tell you, testing each of us asking what is the action and side effect of drugs. I can't remember was it zl or sp was stuttering & trying hard to answer her question and Jhoan just shouted "Faaaail you faaaail!". Super hilarious, and I think we made a lot of din in the room.

Anyways headed to Lot 1 with Aishah after work, to order the log cake for our ward christmas. Yayness! We ordered chocolate flavour, and it is 2kg right Sha? Hahaha you better carry the cake properly tomorrow babe!! We ate korean food at the foodcourt and bitch about alot of stuff, especially about the "lembab!" person (inside joke).

Oh well tomorrow is P-A-R-T-Y time! Lol riiiigggght, and I'm on morning shift -.-"

Never mind I'm off duty on WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY & FRIDAY! So better book an appointment with me ASAP!

Back to Blogging

Had to went M.I.A for quite some time. Prcp has been pretty tiring but so far so good.

Yesterday's afternoon shift was pretty fine although there was 3 empty beds in team 2, I was the only student working but this time round with my preceptor and SN Riza *grins* Talk crap/serious stuff with the physiotherapist, the joke was mainly the drawing he drew on his hand. HAHAHA riodo should know it. So glad that I went home with riodo last night, its been ages since we had our crazy bus rides.

And today morning I was fighting for a cab, lol woke up late and thank goodness I reached on time. Morning was quite busy but manageable and the fact that I actually had time to go down to canteen to buy food.

SN Gu Xue bought KFC for the whole ward as her birthday is tomorrow. After central report, everyone gathered in sister's room, sang birthday song and cut cake... Lol after that nurses went havoc with camera. Snapping here and there, and even Dr. Teo was included when she's busy with her cases. Hahahaha.

Oh well I better head to bed. Tomorrow I'm on afternoon shift and SUNDAY IS MY OFF DAY!!!

Quickie!

Work and stuffs in the ward were as usual. I think today I made so many calls that doctors probably recognise "the voice" of mine, and I even forgot to eat until my preceptor forced me to do so (she literally ask SN Riza to bring me into the staff room).

Pizzass was in the house yo! I mean in the ward. Hahaha. It was a birthday treat from my preceptor, Elena.

Was kinda worried that aishah have not reach the ward yet and it was almost 12.45pm (was waiting for the cake and pressie). Just nice I was asking elena about some stuff and I saw Aishah sneaking behind us and slip into the staff room.

5mins later I realised all the staff that was busy along the corridor was gone. Very weird scenario... Heheh then that mak nenek Aishah pop behind us and said this,

"Elena they say they need your help in the staff room". (Kelakar ah babe your reason!)

"Huh? They need help in what??" she rushed into the staff room...

And SURPRISE! A cake with no. 9 candle litted up, and everyone sang a birthday song. Oh yah many asked why the no. 9 candle, haha the cake was from 4 ngee ann and 5 nanyang students, so it makes up 9. Lol!

We gave her a teddy bear, and I think the cake and surprise was indeed a surprise that she told us she wanted to cry. I feel like going... *awwww* Hehehe. If only we took some pictures! Haha oh well it was kind of a rush and unplanned, but it went well.

Anyway after work, sat down with my preceptor to settle the pda issues in the staff room. Hehh i felt so bad making her stay back and I had to give going back home with riodo a miss too. (Sorry honey! Treat you avocado milkshake ok? Hehehe). After settling the pda issue, me, Elena and Faliqh ate ice cream bought by SN Zhi Qiang, and half way through SN Wenjing and Peipei join us too.

And all the nonsense begin. Faliqh asked all of us a riddle, lol a riddle that left Wenjing still wondering why. Uber funny, especially the look on her face. Hahaha. Oh yah poor Aishah got trick by the "gay" joke.

HAHAHA. If only today was like everyday... Filled with laughters.

Oh well life still goes on right?

Offff Day!

Today's my off day.

Hahaha so when over to smelly's office, and she insisted that I blog about seeing someone. Okay lah, he's very cute can?? Some more make me wait at macdonalds and then rush up to her office and I knew why already. But glad that I managed to see smelly's eyecandy. Hahahaha.

Had lunch together and we exchanged hot news with each other, that it rained later on. Anyway no link. Lol!

Am so looking forward for my next off day, and sleeping day plus another off day after I finish my night duty. Haaaa. Oh yah my ward closed down 2 cubicles yesterday for maintainance. We had too many manpower yesterday, so I only took 3 cases.. Hehh oh wells, 11 more weeks. *motivate me pleaseeeee!*

I'm sooooo going to miss out on nato's bdae party at hard rock cafe tomorrow. Pretty sad, and I kinda miss nato and lou alot... And of cos I miss the others too.

Week 1

A round of applause please! Haha I survived my 1st week of attachment/prcp and finally a rest day for me on sunday.

The first three days was basically a half day orientation and afternoon session of floating in the ward.

Today I was bombarded, although it's only my 1st week I've been challenged to take 6 cases. All went well with good guidance of one staff nurse (hehh my funny wunnie preceptor was not on duty today!). I really learn a few ropes in time management today. Managed to finish my report writing early, maybe because my cases are majority pretty simple and non complicated.

*Pat myself on the shoulder* Hahahahaha!

Anyway I suddenly miss eating together with ernie, naq, & fizah. Hehh constantly laughing everytime we eat, and I'm usually the victim of all conversation. And not forgetting the bus ride home with riodo, kaini, nicole (self proclaim chiobu!) and geeta. They'll spread the most infectious laughter and nonsense ever!!

According to Plan.

Muaha as planned earlier on, today was another meet up with friends with a retro theme in mind. Thank you all for trying your best to dress as retro as possible. Hehehe.

Oh wells so great to meet qiu, sk and riodo again. "Supplies" riodo by appearing together with qiu & sk instead of meeting somewhere else. Gave riodo her belated birthday present (Hope you like it honey!)

Headed to holland, ate japanese food (was supposed to settle for this particular cafe, but it wasnt open yet). Lol service at this particular restaurant is waaaaaay to good that it pisses us off, especially qiu. Hahaha they seriously can't wait to clear your plates away, and top up drinks as fast as a running tap! No privacy at all, so we ended up talking out loud and laugh our lungs out. Wait only qiu did that!!

So many things happened in there, but I must say I really love the ambience in that restaurant, pretty romantic.

Next stop was far east. Window shopped and grab a drink at subway (thanks qiu for the treat!). We headed somewhere else later on, but i forgot where. Sk and others had a craving for this "bao" with soup inside, so I had to act as if I'm a chinese and entered a restaurant filled with chinese people. I bet they are wondering why I didn't eat. LOL!

Riodo went off after that, while qiu, sk and me headed to novena for qiu's haircut but the saloon was already closing. Tsk! Close so early... So we walk around and around until our leg beg for a rest. Found a spot at a foodcourt and ate our dinner there.

Reached home at around 9pm I think. And qiu! Please send the pictures quick, especially my priceless expression pic you snap while we're waiting for the mrt.

Attachment/PRCP is going to begin reaaaaaaaaal soon. So wish me luck guys, and pray for me. And pardon me if I can't meet up and stuff, but I'll promise to miss every single one of you!

Yesterday(sat): Went out to Vivo with lou and fe. Lol dinner at breeks, and sinful supper which are meant to be kept between us. And I bought myself a pretty dress for myself *grins* One hilarious moment was when fe took out the neoprints we took 1 year ago! All of us couldnt stop laughing, and I don't know why it just tickled me so much.

Today (sun): Auntie's day with kaiqiu! Today we were super auntie, or maybe it was just kaiqiu. Accompanied her for lunch and we both indulged some sinful snack. We went grocery shopping at NTUC, found out that they ran out of maple syrup, so we headed to sheng shiong (which is a more auntie shopping place!). Bought stuff that each of us needed to and headed back to my place. It rained so heavily so we had to stay indoors and ended up watching the movie School for Scoundrels, very lame yet funny! And Roger is cuuteeeeeee! Lol!

My 3 weeks break has officially began since monday and I've started working in a clinic nearby my house.

Monday was way too hectic that i didn't even look up to see the time compared to today, where i sat at the counter watching tv and top up syrup medication (found one syrup that looks like dettol and i even thought it smelled like one!).

Yahoooooo! Can't wait for tomorrow, uber excited! Gonna go jalan raya with secondary school members, and standard ah hiring a van.

PTPS Gathering/Iftar

Tuesday was the day when I met up with my malay primary school mates, for some which I've never met up for many years.

Had our "break-fast dinner" at Haji Lane and later on chilled at Novena's Starbucks, where we made a hell lot of noise. I really had fun playing all the nonsense games and hearing them reliving all the primary school moments and antiques, as if it was yesterday's stories...

I just cleared my mailbox, full of junks and nonsense. Haha came upon a finalised proposal, seriously can't wait to meet you people up especially smelly tofu.

And I guess I'm going to meet up with my malay primary school mates next week. Haha I hope it'll be fun, after so many donkey years since we last met. Been spending my break time chatting with ernie about primary school days. So many nonsense, from mixed drink to seaweed and 10cents worth of titbits, teachers and even some self confession of used to liking someone. Obviously not me! LOL!

My empty stomach almost burst, while I laughed so hard.

Oh well I'm going to have a 3 weeks break instead of the planned 2 weeks break due to certain event that is going to take place in AH. Therefore for the 1st 5 weeks, all of us will be working 6 days a week instead of 5 days. But I guess 5 weeks will be gone pretty fast.

Right??

So book me, date me and kidnap me during the 1st 2 week, cos I'll be staying at home mugging on the last week before I embarked on my 4 month PRCP. Wish me luck people!

3 Weeks

Well 3 weeks of my surgical posting has just ended.

Learned a pretty handful of stuff, especially taking case and passing report. Nervous yet thrilling. From following of doctor's round, serving meds, faxing, calling, fetching patient, ticking (they call it "tickology") and writing report.

Really like the ward and staff, regardless if they're newbie or senior, they'll just squeeze some time and teach about few things. And taking case was the biggest deal.

I wouldnt mind coming back here again for PRCP, and I made the right choice for choosing surgical discipline. Muahaaa not forgetting our CI was very patient and nice. Like finally I get the marks that i deserve, totally no biasness.

Now I'm wondering how my next trip to a medical ward would be... Haha maybe a long long list of medication. *chokes!*

Anyway didnt manage to take pictures, cos I forgot to bring my digicam. On our last day at surgical ward. From left; Momo, myself, ernie (my school mate, we spend our break time yakking abt primary school days), kai ni the irritating one (lol!) and lastly our quiet girlie jia ling. Papers Out, Chillings IN!

Exams are like finally over and I’m glad that I know I’ll do just fine. Next stop will be my 6 months attachment.

I’ll put that aside for a moment.

Anyway went to sentosa with class to chill~ Lol. Played some ball games, ate some sand, got pushed down and ate more sand. Hahaha but I had fun, especially with two “Chang” lecturers joining us.

We played this killer/policeman/doctor/civilian game, pretty fun if you know the flow of it.

Later on some left and some of us headed to Vivo’s Swensen for dinner, hehh Esther Chang’s treat, she’s super nice okay. I guess she’ll be a great nsl teacher, and it was great to have her as our relief teacher during our suayness period. Haha I guess my class went through a lot of “hardships”, they’ll know what I mean...

After dinner, we went our separate ways but ben, cat, hai meng and myself stayed on and chill at Vivo. Would have been better if we chilled as esplanade, right hai meng?? Fooo~! Too much corrupted stuff in my brain le.. Hahaha.

Can’t imagine I’m left with my last semester already, no more waiting for bus 184 and heading to school until next year February.

I’ll survive, and I hope.

Oh yah recently I took in Snowy. Lol she's a small white kitten with a dog's behaviour, who can fetch her own toys and even coins and also jumps like a kangaroo. Weird!

And eats more than Taufik.

Happy Nurses’ Day!

This week was indeed a hectic week for me. Every day was a presentation day for me. Not forgetting the practical test, which I kind of screw it up. Oh well few more to go and I better start revising for my exams.

Presented my video project today before heading to convention centre for Nurses’ Day celebration. I felt super embarrassed as I played the doctor role in the video. Hehh! I actually felt pressurised, afraid that the class might shoot my group member, but it went pretty well I guess.

Anyway the celebration was pretty awesome. Lecturers put up a dance performance, exotic dancers with guys wearing skirt but minimal coverage of the upper body (me & cat laughed so hard!) and not forgetting HS idol performance.
Throat’s kinda getting sore now... Yeap I think I better prepare for tomorrow’s class.

Friends

How many of these people did you labeled them as your friends? Have you ever thought what friends really meant to you?

I guess it all comes back to the one who never fails to sit beside you and watch you cry while you mumble and fumble with the words that you’re trying to say…

But stays quiet and understands it all.

Sometimes it’s not the quantity that really matters. It’s not about how much you know about a person, neither it is because you knew that individual for almost a decade or so…

But its how you discover about each other’s secret for every time a conversation ends. And it carries on for many years to come.

The one standing close to you in pictures might not carry much of a weight; it’s just a capture of a presence (Although I admit pictures can make one feel green with envy or even jealous.)

But what matters the most is that person’s been there in desperate times when you think nobody could bring your feet back on the ground.

Three years ago, I talked to a friend by the beach, with hidden stars above the dark sky. I told her that I had too many friends that are like a shadow, who’s with me while I’m in the sunshine, but left the minute I crossed into a shade…

She told me that one day I’ll have that friend.

Rising Numbers

I just got back home, bathe, changed and unpacked my bag.

Time check 12 midnight.

Today went over to Bukit Panjang for data collection. One word, superb. I was with Liduan, and our second house visit had 5 participant. Never encounter such a sporty and enthusiastic family. It was the same for Riodo's and Sk's side. Hehhh i hope tomorrow we'll have the same response or even better one(:

Now I'm dreading... School's starting super sooooon and so many assignments undone. Chiong-ing session will begin on saturday for me. So i hope i'll have peace during weekends; No cousins or relatives crashing at my place.

I must have to admit I'm feeling dead bored and tired. The only entertainment I've been succumbed into these few days are catching House on SVC, striking words on the pocket word search my mum bought and playing with Taufik and Katy.

Which on the contrary, I am not supposed to do any of the above.

So… say helloooooo to ASSIGNMENTS!! *screams&pullshair* I’ll put that on a hold till I get my zest and enthusiasm to start and work on it. Actually not really, wait till school is starting pretty soon, then I get panicky and to make things worst, probably the common test results will be out and…

Oh well here comes the random update.

Collecting data at Ang Mo Kio the other day with Liduan was crazy, because it was Friday the 13^th. Hahaha I’m not those who are overly superstitious. All day long I was making scary tune and being an idiot whining and complaining that we probably won’t get any samples or surveys done. Liduan were probably pissed, but it can be reversed by me singing “I got peace by the river”, in my own version…

Anyway Friday the 13^th was a good day for us, heheh we’ve got more survey done compared to the other days. Some people were so nice they even offered us drinks. Sweet and to celebrate the day me and Liduan actually chilled under the void deck, eating yummylicious cream puff and fruit tart. Not forgetting that it’s damn cheap.

HOOheeHAAA. Gonna get a new com tomorrow. YAYNESS! Fully sponsored. Lol.

Back

I'm back, but not for long. Trust me, my holidays are being burned by the final year project just because it's community based. Almost everyday I'll be working on it with my group mates. So if you miss me, you can just drop by ang mo kio and hunt for me. LOL!!

Today was an off day for me, i thought of crashing into a BBQ party, but decided not to. Hehh. And so i had my own day at home.

Meaning of Friends

As life goes on, and especially when it gets tougher, you can’t help it but to add more meanings and definitions of friends into your dictionary.

I just can’t wait to return to school and kick some ass. Lol right.

For now my body clock is a wrecked. I don’t sleep, when others are sleeping, but I sleep when others are awake. Period.

So you can probably see me writing notes or reading at 3am, then rolling and tossing in bed from 5-9am, and god knows what happen next.

I’m going to visit the doctor who whacked me with medications tomorrow, which is later since it’s already almost 1am.

Gosh I seriously have no idea what I’m typing and babbling about. And thanks to whoever actually bothers to visit and read my post.

None is different unless one understands.
What one understands is one’s difference.

Angel

I guess not much people knew about the terrible and vicious viral disease that hit me a few days ago. Okay I probably have just over used some of the words up there. But it’s true I’ve been down with chicken-pox.

Doctor: “I’m sorry I’ve got to whack you with anti-virals and you’re ban from school.”

Note the word she used, “whack”. She said whack?? This reminds me of Ms Chang who uses “You have to whack your patient with morphine”. Now I’m missing her lessons already… Terribly!

For the pass few days, I won’t deny that I was at the verge of being depressed. Why? Because I’m not in the norms of the society. Tsk! Imagine yourself being down with chicken-pox, stuck at home with two cats that doesn’t talk and worst missing school like nuts! Before I continue my whines and whatsoever, I seriously would like to apologize to those who text me, and all I reply is just a few word or just a short sentence, or probably took a few days to reply.

Seriously I just hate missing school.

I hate to be left out. I hate to be alone catching up on my own. I was pretty upset, if only my close friends were still in the same class as me. I bet they’ll be my guardian angel throughout. But I’m still glad, there’s still occasional smses reminding me to do this and that, and of cos not to scratch.

I learned something on Thursday night.

Although I had to crush my own unseen ego and pride, I took courage and ask someone a favour; to me it was a huge favour. I even told myself that I’m being such a shameless soul to ask that kind of favour…

But I seriously had no choice.

Now I’ve got that someone being my guardian angel, haaa and what an ironic I don’t even know this angel personally. I opened my email today, and I saw what I’ve always wanted to see(: I guess I have to depend on you to guide me along now.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

One should meant what he or she said, cos you'll never know how much weight those words actually meant to a person. That one sentence i got, was like a light that lit up my darkness. But the light disappeared when you don't carry forward what you have said.

On the other hand I'm glad there's another person willing to guide me along.

Missed!

Gee I missed school today. Thanks to the terrible headache.

I feel sort of “naked” weird-kind-of feeling having to miss school today. And like finally, I had a great long nap this afternoon compared to last night, I was practically turning and tossing in bed while my mum was happily snoozing away. Heh.

Anyways I just heard a bad news. Mehhh~! Dr. Tim is leaving us after week 7. And he’s leaving to China to teach. OMG!! Why are all the good lecturers leaving us??

Been rather busy with school, so I had to abandon my blog.

Slept late and woke up late. In fact I only woke up when I received a smelly message from a smelly person. HAHAHA!

Met up with smelly who doesn’t even bother to comb her hair. LOL! Accompanied her for threading. Super funny!! Kaiqiu has a very short tongue!

Amazingly, I studied at home today, all thanks to Kaiqiu laaa. Yesss!! And taufik was spared from being a pie today. HAHAHAHA!!

At The Verge

Happy Friday!!

I reached school pretty early. NSL lesson was soooo confusing, apart from the normal lesson Dr. Tim is already feeding us about next week’s plan and assignments. Oh yah Liduan, Riodo and Raji pop into my class. And thanks Raji for calling my “UNGLAM” nickname out.

Cat and I were the last one to leave the class, and Dr. Tim was so random to inform us that today was his birthday. Lol! So we just wished him. Went down to accompany Cat to purchase her PDA, saw Eleanor and she kept squeezing my arms, sick women…

Hehh soooo happy~ Saw Liduan, Riodo and Raji again!! See lah so much for separating us into different class but our path will always cross into one another. Hahaha. I told them that today was Dr. Tim’s 48^th birthday. All of us went randomly nuts, we bought a slice of cake, a bottle of coca-cola and the card was super HILARIOUS! We went up and down searching for him (we kept bumping into the same lecturers again & again, and I guess they think we’re crazy). Awww~ I think Dr. Tim was touched that he gave us all a hug, a hug that made Raji damn high! Hahaha and not forgetting Riodo, your gestures and body movements are soooo IRRITATING!!!

Raji left after we settled our final year project with Ms. Shree. Had my lunch with Liduan & Riodo and thanks liduan for dropping the skittles sweet on my plate of rice -.-“ Later on we chilled and rotted at “Our Space” for almost 2 hours. Tssssk!! Both Liduan and Riodo fell asleep… While I just stared into space.

I don’t know why, but we met Raji in the toilet. She was still inside the cubicle and yakking away. So all of us left the toilet and let Raji talk and talk and talk alone in the toilet (there were other people too!). She came out and scolded us. Riodo and me just kept laughing!

I had to make my way to another venue, so we have to walk different directions. And once again… Thanks ah the three of you for shouting “Goodbye orange ______!” I think the whole world know about it already. Haaaaa embarrassed!!!

After tutorial, I went home with Liduan. Sheesh… I really miss my previous class.

1^st Day in School

Gosh! I sounded as if I’m some kind of small kid writing a journal about his/her 1^st in school.

Super glad to meet Riodo and Sk at our usual spot early in the morning. Sat in between them and it felt like the old smelly days, Sk doodling and practicing her ABC’s, while Riodo and me kept changing weird faces and stares and our cheeky laugh.

Hello broccoli!! (Random stuffs) LOL!

Anyway drug lecture was pretty okay I guess, just that lecture were abit too noisy. Boo! I have not bought my lecture notes yet, cos I did not bring enough cash, and the lecture notes are uber expensive!! And the thought of queuing and seeing that “oh-so-pms” aunty really dampens my mood. Hah!!

Had practical class today also. Hehh! We did scrubbing, wore scrub suits and not forgetting the mini tour in the operating room. Mehhh~! Got sabotage to be the class leader (I wanted to be lab manager actually, cos I think it’s cool to clear up the mess, crazy I know), and somebody LOL at me cos I mass send a beautiful flow chart of our new classmates contact numbers and email address. Thanks ah! And another kind soul said the class will collapsed with me being the leader.

Oh well I hope this new class of mine will start to gel and go crazy together as days goes by. I guess we all need some time to adapt. And I definitely need time to accept the fact that my class were made up from the 1^st and last class that were split into half, while the other class remains the same. Hmph~!

*PanicPanic!* School’s starting tomorrow. PDA, lecture notes, new modules, FANTASTIC timetable and new classmates.

I almost cried went I read Riodo’s message. Yes, all my goody smelly close girlfriends are not in the same class and the cruel thing is they are all in the other lecture. Okay I admit, I’m getting all emo about this. Oh well on the brighter side, I’ll still see them every Monday morning and… We are doing our final year project together. Hehe!

My motivation chart says “Adopting a right attitude can convert a negative stress into a positive one”. And I must accept the new challenges ahead of me, so that i can feel the exhilaration of victory.

Muahaha i better head to bed, before i start hallucinating about barneys and flying ambulance. LOL!!

Madness!

Been going out since I got back from Vietnam. The good thing it is a form of distraction, bad thing is I’ll be exhausted. Hehehe.

Anyway went to the Cerebral Palsy home yesterday for our post-community service trip. So glad to see everyone again and we had Macdonald’s for lunch. Hahaha. After that went shopping with liduan, gab, cm and meiyu. I fell asleep in the mrt and don’t ask who I saw early in the morning. *chillssss*

Well well well… As for today I went out with fe and jo. Heheh bugis again for me. Fe bought her school bag and jo bought tops. Oh! So happy! *acts happy & high* I got to know jo’s friend. He can save lives but he refused to let me save his. Totally uncool and he owes me big time. LOL!!

Ahhhh~ Got an email from James telling us he uploaded some videos. I watched all of it, again and again, and it seems like yesterday. Especially at Ho Chi Minh Airport, all the tears and hugs, the dance along with “Whine Up” song, the fashion show and etc..

Oh my god, I’m going to cry again.

A Date Out!

Finally met up with bestie, siti. Headed to bugis and hunt for her jeans and top, while I bought a new and simple bag for school. Oh yah had a yummylicious lunch, teh tarik and murtabak was fantastic. Hehehe thanks babe for the treat! Will be my turn next time, waffles with ice cream?? Any takers?? LOL.

I guess I’m pretty lucky to catch LY (lay, 4C team from Vietnam) online. Gosh no words can describe how much I miss her and the other members. The smiles, the laughter and the screamings… Seems like yesterday. I won’t forget the mini party we had in our room catching cockroaches and doing crazy forfeits. Mine was the “Sexy Dance”. LOL!!

Oh well I better head to bed early or my flu will get worsen. Gonna wake up bright and early, and head to the Cerebral Palsy Home tomorrow. Hehehe can’t wait to meet the others again.

I’m Back!

I was away for a community service in Vietnam for 2 weeks – 24/3 to 6/4.

I was glad to be given an opportunity to go to Vietnam. It really opened up my eyes and mind especially at the orphanage home and the disabled home. I was really inspired and motivated by all the actions and efforts that the Vietnam students put in. I was really awed and they are indeed “The Leaders”.

Although not all of them will be able to read these, I would still like to thank all of them from the bottom of my heart. Especially people who is always the last one to eat, just to make sure we got our right food. All the small things you did for us were indeed a big thing and have made a big difference to me.

For 2 weeks I spent the days and time with people whom we started of as strangers.
For 2 weeks, we eat, drink and sleep together.
For 2 weeks we work, play and had fun together.
And on the last day, we shed tears together.

Till we meet again, in a spirit of volunteerism.

I’m Going to Miss…

Time passed like a snap!

My KK attachment has come to an end, and the next attachment will last for 6months. I’m not going to think about it. Period.

Haaa bonding camp was nicey-nice. It’s like been ages since I had camps. Gosh how I miss NPCC camp, especially at Pulau Ubin. I really really learned a lot from the bonding camp, maybe a few might understand what I meant.

Madness!!

Met up with sk, riodo and qiu yesterday.

Although we spent only half a day together, it was fun and glad to see each other again. Had lunch at marche, the fondue is yummylicious. The thought of it makes me drool already. Anyway we watch Horton. Haiya as what riodo mentioned, we have two kids with us of cos must watch Horton. You should hear how LOUD sk laughed throughout the movie.

Oh yah there was some cosplay event. We took some picture with those in costume. Will upload it once i got the pictures from smelly irritating friend of mine. LOL!!

Im going nuts, bonding camp tomorrow and my bag is not yet packed. Excellent!

KIDS?

Im now attached to kk paeds ward. Been rather busy with 2hourly parameters and ngt feeding. Hehh and i suddenly prefer afternoon shift.

Attachment's clique are nicey-nice. I thought i'll die alone or what cos i only know one person from my shift (which is the AH gang). One thing i dread about attachments are food, to be exact spending of food. Expensive lehhh, now pocket big big hole le. Dabao food better, especially home cooked fried rice in my doraemon lunch box.

LOL! Lame, i know.

Oh yah, eleanor drive me home, and drop esther & mailina somewhere near school. Havoc sia! The 3 of them were talking and laughing, i was just listening.

Mailina: Eh kasinah why you so quiet de??
Esther: No wonder, she prepared herself with the seat belt liao!

Hahahaha. And i got a smack from eleanor, not including the smacks in the ward.

Inspired

Today was my last day attached to IMH. I was actually sad but i told nobody about it. Fearing people will response, "You siao ah!!". Hahaha! But 2 weeks really passed by pretty fast. We had a mini party with our patients today, i was actually smilling inside.

I've learned alot of things, for example im able to list the differences between IMH settings and the normal ward settings. To me it was really an eye-opener. In normal ward, especially when its busy, your relationship with a patient are basically like touch-and-go. You explain to patient about the procedure, perform the procedure and then off you go to the next one. It'll just go on and on like a daily ritual. Where else in IMH, it is more of therapeutic nurse-patient relationship. I really gained alot of confidence in terms of communication skills and let me tell you it wasnt easy for me to interview and ask personal questions from patients.

One thing i regret is that i could have done better during the 2 weeks there. I could have just gather all my confidence, pick up any of the management files and do education on that particular patient (that i did my case study on). Well i hope i did make at least a small difference in the patient's life.

Well at the moment i think marks, grades and comments from attachments should not bother me to the bits. I know where i stand, i know what my strengths and weakness are, and i know be it during the 6 months prcp or when i enter the workforce, i will do my best. Sometimes its a fact that CI/CF are not practically always with you to see what you are doing, therefore there are bound to be a certain degree of biasness.

I guess im getting used to all this biasness, politics and boot-licking issues. It shouldnt be any of a huge obstacle for me in future, i hope.

Hehhhh! And on the last day, i was actually considering to work in IMH in future, maybe after 2-3 years of working in normal general hospital. Why not right? And quit joking about me being a permanent resident in there. Its funny but too much of it really sickens me. And i wish i could terminate all the stigma on patients with mental illness.

I better head to bed now. Busy days ahead.

5 Days

5 days in IMH, wait let me correct the sentence again.

5 days attached to IMH. I really learned alot.

First day was plainly a tour orientation and at the last hour we get a chance to communicate with the patients. I was super duper scared, super paranoid and fear all of them. Partly because im in a male ward. As days goes by, i wasnt that scared and fear any of them but of cos i've learnt to be alert & observant with my surroundings. It's definately a real challenge to gather all the patients and have them participate in an activity. Its not only the factor of whether the game will be childish or suitable for them, its partly also how the patient perceived what and why such activities are created for them.

Hahaha one funny thing i realised is that, when there's crisis alert me and my friends are like so eager and jumpy. In short, kaypoh larh. But it was a false alarm on one occasion.

Alot of things going in my mind.

Sadden that class outing was cancelled, TSKTSK!! I thought i could like de-stress by rolling some heavy balls, instead im sitting at home working on my case study.

You'll never know what's on or in a person's mind, until you asked about it.

Happy Saturday!!

Finally get to see my npcc mates. There was me, jacelyn, pui yoke, yann ming, yam wenn and syahrul. It would have been perfect it bedah, jolene, desmond and vicky joining us. Never mind, i'll be waiting for the next outing (Boss ah quickly organise the next one hor!! haha).

Anyway we had dinner at habourfront, ramen ten. Hehe pretty yummy but drinks were abit too expensive but the moments and laughter we had was totally priceless. Its really good to see everyone once again after so long.

After the dinner, syahrul and his gf had to leave early, so me, jace, py, ym and yw walked around vivo and ended up chilling at macdonalds. Oh yah we camwhore alot too!! Hahaha we chat and chat and laugh and laugh like there's no tomorrow. It even brought jacelyn close to tears. Lol. We talked about npcc life and it felt like it just happened yesterday...

From doing checkpoints, camps, outdoor cookings and cursing under our breath while marching... Hahaha our favourite changing hideout; under the staircase, shouting never ending cheers and so on. I could just go on forever.

If I were given a choice I wouldnt mind going through that 4 years once again but like what jacelyn said, we still have to go on with life.

Blessed!

Life in poly has been hectic and yet fun for me. Staying up to 4am and skipping lectures to rush report but later on realized that two days grace were given. *faint*

Online test, projects and reports are all done-ded. All im left with is ELAHA report and I better start studying for exams.

Went to the subordinate court, the hearing case were pretty interesting, shall not elaborate on it much. Hah I still remember back in primary school I used to dream of becoming a lawyer. Lol but my England is way too powderful for use in a solemn place like the court.

I realized I had a handful of super duper great friends, who stand alongside with me and gave all their selfless and never ending support. Their persistent support even brought me close to tears. Yah call me emotional or whatever. Hahaha of cos besides that, we were able to tolerate each other's nonsensical behaviour. Lol I wish I could have video-ed or captured all those nonsensical moments…

Anyway I truly felt blessed. Im so looking forward for the trip to Vietnam, especially with all my great friends beside me (:

Giving Some Life

Firstly i know this blog has been quite a redundant and secondly i should be working on my ns3 report instead of blogging. Hahah! Contradiciting myself.

I just got off from the phone with iyoman, who asked how am i twice. And as usual keep bugging me and my mum to go to Bali for holiday. Talked crap and entertained all his nonsense but one thing he said make sense, thanking me for all the hospitality when he was in Singapore.

Oh yah i received a special friend card. Totally unexpected. I supposed the card was chosen pretty carefully in terms of the word content and meaning. Was deeply touched(:

Sometimes, people take things for granted, its only usually when something drastic came squashing upon them... Will then make them realize...

Anyways... School's been hectic, rushing for assignments, tests and projects. I wish i can bend time or something, cos im so not looking forward with next week. Urgh and it's been awhile since i had any chilling session. LOL. Day in and day out was just a robotic routine of going to school and heading home and either face the computer or stack of notes.

If only there was a sun that shone much brighter in the sky...

Random

Woah okay so my blog missed christmas and even my own birthday, which was yesterday. Didnt plan much, in fact planned nothing for my birthday since im working in the afternoon shift. LOL. Riodo, sk and qiu came knocking crazily at my window around 10am yesterday with a purple box full of SURPRISES!! We had breakfast together before me and sk head to hospital. I was very happy to see them, riodo with her full of advertisement craps (the lastest one is sheng shiong), kaiqiu whom i can always bully and disturb her and she'll still love me no matter what, and of cos sk who has been my pillar of support for everything, especially for this attachment from creating extra steps of handwashing, doing logistic work in the store.

I wanted to thrash about some arrogant and the most rude human being on earth but its just a waste of my precious time. But i think i'll say this, "SCREW YOU B***"

Still No Sun??

I realised my blog has been dying, just like me, rotting away at home. I suddenly feel these 2 weeks of holiday is such a redundant; wasted.

Nothing big or bombastic happened to me, except the fact that i just chopped my hair. So sickening and i have yet to embarked on my individual assignments, like hurray. Damn contradicting, i need more holiday so i can finish up my assignments but like i mentioned before that the holiday has became redundant and i don't know why im looking forward for attachment. Rare.

The past few nights has been a battle over mind and reality. But i believe it starts from the mind and i'll see it in reality, soon with god's willing and of cos, my perseverance. Hahaha in short don't procrastinate people.

Hello hello. Its raining out here and im just sitting here waiting for the rain to stop.

Was supposed to sleep over at my aunt's place yesterday but i didnt cos mummy was sick, so i decided to stay at home and help out with the chores.

Once again i went through a drilling process of watching less tv and lesser time spent on computer for at least a week, and spending longer hours in school studying. Haha and i must thank my smelly fishy friend, sk for tolerating my nonsense during the mugging.

Yesterday after the last paper, darn it PAS!!! Ok i won't talk about it. Anyway me, riodo, raji, liduan and hai meng went to bukit timah hawker centre to have lunch. LOL i had to eat balls with peanut soup cos i realised there wasnt any malay stall...

Later on me, riodo, sk, qiu and liduan headed to bugis. Me, sk and qiu had nasi lemak, super yummy. With our stomach full, we went for facial at Amore, yah we're super rich. Hahaha. Super shiooook can?? I even fell asleep laa. But i hated one part where they use this metal thingy to squeeze your pimple. I remember that metal thingy we used back in microbiology prac to smear the bacteria on the agar plate. LOL. Okay that's gross!

I Guess Life's Like That.

I always thought life would be fair. I use to think that...

A person is blind, yet he/she can wriggle her fingers on the piano or even strum the guitar and people envy the songs that were produced.

A very poor family, mum is very sick, dad's the sole breadwinner yet the whole family gets to sit together for dinner every single day.

An ugly person, but with a good leadership quality.

I could go on and on... I thought life is fair. Even when i thought at some point of time life wasnt fair, i choose to ignore it and just be happy. But now i think im understanding the parts and parcel of life. Maybe you won't even understand what on earth am i blabbering about, or maybe im just stuck in life.

Im worried, who's going to walk beside me? Who's going to hold my hands? Who's going to be there for me when im at lost??

And who's who??

Right... Based on psychology and sociology, im probably having a damn huge role confusion and identity. LOL.

I Thought I Was Going To Rot.

I was woken up by bedah's msg. The plan was just to find a place and chill but nuri told us to go over to the zoo. Anyways had lunch at imm, the usuals, long john.

Headed to choa chu kang and took a bus to the zoo. LOL. Went there for a job interview, together with nuri's sister too. Ohh gosh~ How i wish i can go to the zoo just now, but the tickets were soooooo ex. Hehh. Anyways i hope i can get the job, i think it'll be super fun to work together.

After that we went to ang mo kio hub and explore. Hahaha we both bought an orange bag, kinda cheaaaap. Had a super expensive yet yummy yogurt. Riodo, i think you should try it.

Walk around and didnt realise it was past 7pm, headed home. But halfway chang plan and met nuri up at Lot1. Sat, drink and chat for awhile... And now im back home.

Those Were The Days

BEWARE! SUPER SUPER LOOOOOOONG ENTRY.

Friday
I rushed back home after school, feeling super excited deep inside to meet my secondary school friends. Heheh meet bedah first and farhainy halfway, then we headed to munir's house. OMG i actually carried a one month old baby at his place, haaa super jelly-like feeling when i carry the baby and seriously it wasnt that easy. Okay from now on i'll take NSL classes seriously and not play around with the baby mannequin. Hahahaha. You heard that riodo???? LOL!

Then we headed to ramzi's house if im not wrong and later to cikgu ali's, followed by bedah's.And its nice to see your malay teacher again. Hehe.

Oh yah~ This year jalan raya was a little bit special, hee fuad can drive, so we got a van to travel around. Fuad and fir sat in front, while bedah, farhainy, agus, munir, ramzi, agus and myself sat behind. Seriously everytime we hit the road, there'll be funny things happening. Yeah there was even a car which almost collided behind us, cos the van stalled suddenly, but i thing its not a funny thing. Hehh.

Like after bedah's place, we headed to ang mo kio area if i remember correctly. The journey from clementi to there really took some time and being almost cramped up in a mini van could be a bore. HAHAHA ok i feel like laughing now. I don't know where exactly we were, but suddenly behind us there's a lorry with lots of bangladesh man. Agus suddenly stick his head out of the van, waving like mad man and screaming selamat hari raya and happy deepavali to them. I think i almost laughed my lungs out. Later at the red light, the lorry stopped beside our van, and agus start with his another antiques, screaming and pointing to bedah, asking them if they're interested in her, even munir joined in by shouting her hp number out. The group of dashing bangladesh man just smile sheepishly.

While we continue laughing like a mad creatures, as if we're intoxicated by the laughing gas.

At Mrs Ali house, we had a feast, lots of pizza and chicken wings, not forgetting cheese too. Hmm actually what Mrs Ali said about secondary school friends does make sense, made me ponder over it before i went to sleep. Anyways we took a group picture at her place, lol her maid has super good photography skills. LOL okay jokes aside.

Next stop was firdaus's place where poor ramzi became a victim. Before that, there was fried mee hoon, nuggets and hotdogs at his place. You can imagine how our stomach were at the verge of a HUGE explosion. We didn't even touch the kuih-kuih that was sitting innocently on the table, until firdaus offer a piece of kuih to ramzi, claiming it was choco chip cookie and its very nice. So all eyes at ramzi, as he bite and chew and when his tongue absorbs the taste, he had a sudden face change...

It turned out to be black pepper cookie. Hahahaha. And he's so nice, he ate the whole piece of the cookie, despite many tell him not to.

By the time we headed to fuad's place its already 10pm. Haha oh yah agus took a picture of me pointing middle finger in the van. We were talking about npcc and he suddenly shoot a rumour about me and someone, and i yelled and protest like a mad woman and shoved a middle finger at his face. Everyone went havoc, agus starting screaming, as usual his screams are super girly, claiming he was shocked to see me doing that, and ramzi was shocked too. Both of them demand an encore, just to snap a picture for memory sake, like agus said "RARE". I hope the picture will not be circulated around, its totally un-GLAM.

Hehhh at fuad's place, his maid already prepared for us fried noodles and nuggets. If you were to point a sharp pin at our stomach, i think it'll burst right away! Agus was like poking with a fork of cos, at the poor slice fishballs on his plate contemplating whether to eat or not. Until at a point of time he couldnt take it, and started punching my left arm, take note - PUNCHING~ I think the slice fishballs talked to him, that's why. LOL!

The last house was mine, hahaha all of our stomach were screaming in agony, lucky my mum didnt cook or prepare any food for them. There was a huge sigh from everyone. By 11.30pm, everyone was going their separate ways, but before that my mum help us took a group photo with the mini van.

The whole day was totally fun, purely fun and memorable. Hahaha even the part where me and bedah screamed at the guys, cos while we get down from the van, either one of them will grab our shoes and start throwing it around as if it was a ball or something. Then out of nowhere you'll see two bare footed woman and flying shoes at the carpark. Totally havoc!

Oh well it past 1am already, i could go on forever man. Haha but i better head to bed. HEHE pictures will be uploaded as soon as i get hold of it.

Random Thoughts

I'll give this a quick update. Over the weekends, me, qiu and sk gave riodo a surprise by appearing in front of her bedroom door with a ice cream cake and "balloons bigger than our breast", as quoted by riodo. LOL. She look SUPER FUNNY laaa, shocked with her glamourous clothing which i think will be the next in thing. HAHAHAHA. Anyway, thanks to riodi for making the surprise a successful one. Hehe.

And OMG i hope ms mary will stop identifying me as mdm sunshine, lol i got such a nice name, but i bet by end of the sem she'll probably still don't know my reaaaaaaal name. Hehhh. NEH MIND...

Its second week of school already and gosh am i dreading NS3 tml, no notes for me to read except from slides and i think the lecturer is scary. HAHH i think riodo, you'll get what i mean. Even ELAHA and PAS is such a bore.. And its examinable, like yay~

Almost Forgot.

Well a week of school just ended, and i totally forgot about my blog. First week was a total hectic, i thought i would be as light as riodo and just glide through the days, but i was wrong.

Monday was 8-6pm with a joyous one hour break, i think me and riodo were really acting as if we're hungry ghost. We even got projects and today was our first presentation. Haaa i was super nervous and i think i screw my part abit, and the punishment would be... Call me Mdm Sunshine as you wish. LOL. Okay lets put that aside.

I think this semester will be a tough one, ehhh hold on a sec... I think i did say this before, in fact every start of a new semester i kept saying this. Hahaha. Anyway i hope i will be aspired and growing, not expire and growing mould this semester which i doubt will happen cos its going to be all about mummy and BABIES! And not forgetting theories from PAS and laws. Hehhh.

Was reading riodo's blog and yes im soooo having the same thoughts as her, but it was a subconscious issue until i saw her blog. It doesnt matter if it was a subconscious or a conscious issue. What's important is that i have my family and friends, which make me happy. And of cos, i'll continue to pursue it, work hard and make myself proud. That's why im still going on with life.

Although life seems to be simple on the surface, but everyone's battling deep inside them...

The Nonsense Met Up

Hehe this entry was supposed to be due on sunday. I met up with kaiqiu, sk and riodo. Its been soooooo long since we last met, hahar except for sk, i've been seeing her almost everyday during attachments. LOL. But still, i miss them LOADS and HEAPS.

I miss crapping and laming with riodo, which eventually will pissed sk off. Seriously only our crappings and lamings are capable to do so, and WE LOVE IT. Right riodo?? I miss teasing kaiqiu, cos she'll always be my victim and her laughter is always infectious, and lastly i miss sk's FISH FACE! Who doesnt??

Oh well, we chilled at marina square, took lotsa stupid pictures and the first thing me and riodo did was to recite the advertisement from M1 if im not wrong. We were going like "Sing-ga-pore, it is a suburb?" and so on. I really had a great laugh. Seriously, advertisement can do damage to your brains.

Had dinner at pizza hut, but qiu couldnt join us. The pizza was yummy, so was the guy who took our orders. Hahahaha.

Whats Done

Well attachments over, im going to miss working with the two loony ANs, hana and anis who are sisters. And probably staff nurse uma and sister karen too, going through thick and thin taking care of alvina's part time boyfriend (I hope alvina doesnt see this! Or else she'll start praying to me.) LOL.

Hmm... There were many things and issues i encountered, which was very disappointingly unfair, maybe that's how life should be. Its true certain KINDS of people DO exist, i wonder how their future would be. Well i shouldnt be bothered by their future. I hope god will forgive me and them, and make me stronger in future to come.

Yeah... I hope my long sleep will erase it all.

Hey There, Kasinah.

Heelloooooo world. I feel so lost contacted. Hehe maybe I should update a little bit. Gee and its like past 6am now.

I’m now having my attachment in an oncology ward.

Oh yah cool, I almost forgot that I went to Thailand the week before attachment starts. It was totally fun! From being thick-skinned, bargaining at shops worst than aunties with sk and her friend, pei yue and the long hours of chatting with xiao hong. We went to the hot spring, ride and feed elephant (gosh we even get to watch elephants pee and shit!), ride on a longtail boat along with the fiery waves but accompanied with beautiful scenery and not forgetting that my favorite grey sandals got stuck on a bed of squishy black oil, and I lost one side of it. BOOOO~ never mind. Food was good too but the best part was still shopping and bargaining, especially with a gay. Hahaha okay im so sexist. Like OMG! I still remember how he ran around his shop, fully dressed la okay, when they heard that the police was coming. Ask me to demonstrate the next time you see me yeah.

I hope the next stop will be somewhere further, like hong kong or something, with friends again especially riodo and quiyy who didn't join us in Thailand.

Back to attachments… First week was a torture, not that attachments were such a bore. Seeing certain patients was really a torture to my feelings that it makes my throat caught soo tight, tears were almost produced. And being in this profession, I can see the ego and truth of a person.

Suddenly I feel so guilty; I actually complained and whined about this “Pakcik” being difficult. But the fact was it was his family who was being difficult. I won’t forget that the “Pakcik” and his wife actually complimented on my care right smack in front of his daughter, whom I was teaching NG feeding but seems partially unwilling to learn. “Pakcik” even put his thumbs up and he gave me an apple and an orange before he was discharged, and yah, discharged against hospital advice.

He cried two times on that day before he was discharged, and I know he doesn’t wants to go home yet. All I can do is pray that god will grant him a speedy recovery…

In Future…

I would like to go back in my mind to that time.

Met up with sk, riodo and qiu at woodlands mrt and off we went to sakae sushi for lunch. Although the service wasn’t much to be expected, having each other’s company was enough to mask the unpleasant working attitude of the staff.

The food came and riodo suddenly asked sk why she took quite some time to grace. Sk replied that she was saying thanks that all of us was able to sit and eat together. I was kinda shocked and loss for words.

Hehehe anyway the food was nice and we had a lot of fun and laughter, not forgetting sk’s dramatic actions. We even shared lame jokes. Next we headed to the arcade, looking around and snapping funny pictures. And of cos we even took neoprints. Riodo had to leave early, so me, sk and qiu catch Ratatouille.

Ratatouille was indeed a very funny show, I laugh like million times although my butt was sore from sitting for two hours.

By 6pm, we were all heading home and I met my bestie halfway at chua chu kang. Hehehe chilled at KFC and catch up on what we’re missing, even small things like the new bread shop opened in clementi. Walk around the “pasar malam” and I bought fruit tarts from the new Prima Deli shop. Hehehe.

A well spend Sunday for me. What about yours?

Gotcha!

Without plans, riodo came over to my place this afternoon. Hehe riodo called up the Amore pampering session to make an appointment for herself, me and sk.

And we even tricked sk by asking her all sort of nonsense question regarding the session, when only your full name and phone number was required. HAHAHA. I smsed her this; Ok so who should we contact in case of emergency, what’s your height and weight, what’s your spectacles degree, how often do you exercise and the list goes on. She called me within seconds without replying my sms.

Me and riodo was trying soooo hard to maintain our normal non-insane self while asking the same question and listening to sk’s answer. You wouldn’t want to know the VERY last question we asked sk. HAHAHAHAHA. After the 10 minutes nonsensical conversation, we reveal to sk that we were just joking with all the questions we asked. I laughed till my throat went sore.

We discussed a little bit about our outing this Sunday before heading to SIM to accompany riodo.

Gosh I think I really miss school, especially friends, the time we spend together and all the laughter.

Shimmy-Shimmy

I woke up VERY early and met sk at the bus stop near my house and headed to Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza for the Amore Woman’s Day Out. Met up with liduan and her friends at there too.

Had one hour of aerobics including kickboxing and another hour of belly bitz. Yeah many woman were shaking their thang yo. With a shimmy-shimmy and a hop! Hahaha the most insane and nonsensesical belly dance moves I had to do. Even passerby who was busy sorting their shopping bags, stop and giggle. There was even a fair share of matrix reloaded moves. Totally cool, only without the bullets of a gun flying around. LOL.

After the two hours of fun shaking and kicking, we collected our goody bag, the main highlight of this event. The bag was filled with good stuffs and all woman will love it, especially PADS as quoted by riodo. Hahahaha okay pads aside.

Me and sk headed back to clementi and had lunch at our usual hideout. Went our separate ways and headed home. Took a bath, landed on my bed and off for a short nap. Never been this tired for quite some time. But I had fun!

So what’s next for me during holidays?? Stay tuned to find out more. LOL.

Anyway… I met up with sk today. We had breakfast at clementi, as usual her mee soto will always have some deficiency. First there was no chicken, and today the soup was way too little that the noodle cant even drown, but she’ll still order mee soto no matter what. Loyal customer. I can already hear sk “PUI PUI PUI”, even before she reads this. Hahaha.

Headed to vivo city. SHOPPED! Hehe we bought stuffs from candy empire. And… I bought my orange top! Yay! Oh yah met my bestie, was about to disturb her at her workplace when she suddenly pop out, rushing to go for lunch. Hehe so accompanied her for lunch, even ants too. LOL.

Muahaa i hope this sunday we can meet up sooooon - dodo, monster and ahPUI. LOL.

HOLIDAYS!

Well five days has pass since the last day of exam. Been keeping myself busy, like going to the gym with my lesbian partner, tut-ed SK who lols all the way. But we're not lesbian, so dont get us wrong. Hahaha.

While yesterday, i went jogging at sunset way with FE. Haaa we went at the wrong timing cos the sun was abit way too hot, but our jogging wise improved compared to the last jogging session we had, which was eon years ago. Hehe cool-ness lets jog more during weekends okie??

Today woke up pretty early and headed to westmall's coffee bean to meet SK and QIUY. SK taught QUIY statistic, lucky she never vomit her breakfast. I miss QIUY very very little! LOL. Later on me and SK met riodo the bunny, and headed to Taka to collect a pathetic piece of paper for our event next week, was hoping to collect our goody bags.. But...

Oh well after that me and SK went shopping at Far East, hehe SK bought a DRESS! CHIO~ Im hitting the gym again tml. Hehe.

No comments for NS1 except for the BOMBASTIC word used in mcq - "sequela", nonsense. For NS2, i jumbled alot of my facts and the last paper pharmacology, which was today was... EASY. HAHAR im not trying to be arrogant or something, i think many will say the same thing too. HEHEHE shall not disclosed the reason behind it.

Oh well me, riodo and sk went to imm to window shop. Hahar we looked at bras, bag, clothes and had lunch at long john, where the service is sooooooo sucky. Then sk gave up and went home while me and riodo head to vivo city and start on our evil missions.

Because You Live

And breathe. Actually im dying. Stupid cursed unknown diagnosis. LOL im having a horrible GI problem. Food ate during lunch seemed to be digesting DAMN SLOWLY inside my stomach. Even when dinner time has passed and being missed, i still feel full and bloated. Then i realised my stomach is really digesting food at very slow rate, i ended up puking half digested food that i ate during lunch today.

CRAP. Now i dont think its funny anymore. Functional problem, not psychologically. And neither am i anorexic. HAHA. Anyway i'll keep irritating myself and harp about exams coming. LOL. So that i'll keep on and consistently study. Cool-ness.

And i suddenly wonder if we ever going to cross each other path. Or maybe its just my wishful thoughts. Heeee.

BAHH~ Me, liduan and kim arrived at 6pm for training yesterday, for epee people its considered EARLY. So got some guy lead the warm up, and at one point of time i puked. Liduan and kim keep saying i become chinese girl already due to my pale face. HAHAHA thanks ah. Anyway was slacking until henry came, and we played, not really play la, the sadist beeping speed game. CAUTION: For sadist people only. Hurrr and i wish i could poke the other eyes of henry. LOL. You guys should see his left eye, damn gross, bleeding plus ORH-CHEH terribly. And we escape his sadist training around 9plus than the usual 10plus. Smart. And that was the last training.

And i MUST start studying. Gonna meet the N-E-R-D-S this sunday for a group study. Anyone wanna join in?? LOL.

Happy Nurses' Day

Hehe happy nurses' day to all and i wont forget this day. Me and riodo skipped NR lecture although we were in school. Handed in assignment, printed some notes and then met cat, and off we went to jurong east.

Had breakfast at macdonalds and bought tickets for Captivity. HAAAA i slip through a M18 movie by showing my student ID where it doesnt show my birth date. LOL the indian women asked when is my birthday, and i said it was just last week. She asked again, "Correct ah? You're not lying??"

OMG the movie is damn bloody and puke-inducing. The plot was nice and tricky with a twist in it. Lucky i had my sweets with me or else i would have already excused myself at the first place.

But my stomach and throat gave way when i reached home. So in future don't mentioned or offer me any blended drinks that is RED in colour.

Hehhh exams coming and the time is clicking.

Through The Sky...

Hehe i know my blog is like totally rotting. I'll update randomly.

Today i had a great laugh with riodo and liduan. I laughed till my throat when sore during our lunch at atrium. I think there's a campaign or something about quiting smoking, and there's this weird person dressed as a cigarette. I assumed the person inside that costume was a guy, and he danced like a stick. And.. that liduan cant stop imitating his dance moves even after she was noticed by people. To top up with her mimics, riodo's laughter was infectious too. LOL.

Random updates. Hehe at last went out with fe and lou last week, and took neos. And out of the blues, i've decided to join fencing with liduan hoping to spice up my poly life. Sheesh spice up, like as if im in a relationship. Hahaha.

Oh well, NSL exam theory and practical is this friday and next week respectively... So dont expect any frequent updates from me. And in case you think im not alive and kicking, please, by all means call me. HAHAHAHA. Lame, i know.

Updates!

Its been quite some time since i last update my blog. Hmm... Alot of things have been going on for me although i've just started school for a week.

Random thoughts. I think its nice to sit together and have breakfast in school. Lol like yesterday if im not wrong after our NR lecture. Me, riodo, sk, liduan sat at sim canteen and was later joined by raji, azri, fatin and wati. Laughter is really a memory.

When you fall, you have to get up on your feet... No matter what.

I Can't Sleep

For whatever reason i can't really go to sleep and i just ate a banana. Its raining outside and school's starting tomorrow for me.

Oh yah met up with wen si for breakfast at mr prata two days ago. Sheesh damn emotional la, cos we were telling each other how much we missed our secondary school life and our class too. It was really nice catching up with her.

Gosh i really miss those secondary school times whereby after school, you can just chill or crap or even do your homework together with your friends. In poly, its different. Your timetable sucks, and you got either lessons from 8am to 6pm or a long redundant hours of break. HAHAR worst, there wont be teachers to bug you for your assignment - own time own target lah my friend, and if you got no time and target... The answer is ZERO la my friend. But im very lucky to have good and close buddy with me in poly, at least they are the one who motivate me and push me esp SK and my Riodo honey. And of cos we had our share of lameness, crappiness and kuku-ness besides being studious. I think if i never met or knew about them.. LOL i don't even want to think and imagine about it.

Oh well i guess i better head to bed. Hehehe thanks for reading people.

At Last

Finally attachments are over and the GBTG met up yesterday. We had lunch at school's canteen one and off to Vivo City. Nat bought the most stuff and i got myself a top from G2000. I'm Counting Down...

Hahar tell me who isn't counting down for the last day of attachment?? TELL ME NOW!

Anyways, like i mentioned before, attachment is so-so. Hehehe but this week is much better, i'm posted to team 3 which is the orthopedics = the dog and bone cases. Pretty interesting and i witnessed an eye opening procedure, doctors removing 5 pretty long metal from a patient's feet which they called it pins (which in my opinion, it isn't the size of a PIN, more like a stick or twig).

I think ortho is much more interesting than surgical cases, cos for surgical cases you're always busy, esp putting up drips and admissions. HAAA. There was one time, i was gloating about being free cos i've got only 4 patients to take care. Then out of the blue, purple, yellow and pink, 4 became 12. Thats where me and mo-mo frown and do admission like there's no tomorrow, we even forgot to go for break. But its good la, can perfect my skills for doing admission. Hehhh but nobody's perfect right?? LOL nonsense.

Oh well... I better hit my bed now. Ciao people.

Oh well attachment was... so-so (dont really like the ward, abit disorganized), for five days i was in the first team which was all the surgical cases. Surgery of the ear, nose, thyroid, stomach, prostate also got, just name it. One word, stress. And afternoon shift just sucks.

Anyway went to the gym this morning with sk, while riodo go for aerobics. The usuals, we complained to each other about attachment, sk and her callbell king. LOL.

Jangan Pandang Belakang

Hehe went to catch a movie with my bestie bedah. Before that i went for a blood test and had lunch at our usual fast food place, what else la dey that john who is long. Hahaha long john la. After that headed to westmall to catch the movie.

Weird right? We've been friends for almost 7 years or so, and now then we catch a movie together and both of us actually dont know how to buy the tickets *smacks forehead* Anyway the movie was quite interesting, and i must admit its kinda scary with all the odd looking ghost face. Not to forget the sound effects plus bedah's melatah, can get double heart attack. LOL! There were certain scenes my emotions caught in between, it was either to laugh or be scared, but of cos i ended up laughing la.

Sheesh we were finding our way out of the cinema, and there were just soo many doors. Eventually we got lost and tried to open some odd looking door. Two makciks (who watch the movie too) scare us by saying not to open the wrong door. WALAO makcik also never give chance to us, want to scare scare young girls. But it kinda funny la. To think about it again i just cant stop laughing.

Oh well, i better put on a maximum gear and start some kickass with my studies. To all my sick friends/classmate, get well soon aite. And all the best for the upcoming practical and common test.

Back From Hiatus

Hello to all of my loyal readers (including secret readers), hehe sorry for the looooong hiatus. Been rather busy and i could not find any reason or topic to blog.

Oh well, NSL practical test is like a week away and soon its common test. Everyone wil go HALLELUJAH!! Nuts. I better start understanding meera's notes or i'll be haunted by all the MM's in the world. HAHAHA riodo is sooo going to laugh at this when she sees it.

Yeah anyway life's in poly is going good when you have all your good friends by your side. And at the end of the day, you just laugh your head off and all stress and worries can be forgotten. Yah and you can even forget to do your assignments, lol like me.

Owee. Im missing alot of people now. Hehe cant wait to go out for a movie date with bestie soon, a dinner date with my babe (suhaila) next week hopefully, chill with nat & lou, and of cos another tai-tai outing after common test, without fail, rain or shine, flooded or scorching hot.

If you miss me you better call me up and ask me out okay!! If not i'll haunt you in your sleep till whenever... Hehehehe. Okay that's all folks. Good night.
